    • Ribbons - Usually made of satin or similar material. They connect to a ribbon stick usually made of fibreglass. When purchasing, ensure it is the correct length and stick length for the age of the gymnast.

    • Hoops - Choose a hoop size suited for your height. They are typically made from plastic. to gain the colour or design, they are taped or covered with holographic light weights tapes which are rigidity and grip to the hoop.

    • Balls - These are plastic, generally come in 3 sizes, child, junior and senior. The age of the gymnasts will determine the size and weight of the ball required. Balls come in a variety of colours and finishes (glitter or plain etc).

    • Clubs -These are made of plastic and generally 'clip' inside each other as well as used one in each hand. The length again depends on the age and height of the gymnast.

      Ropes - Ropes are sold in a standard length and then cut to the height of the gymnast. They are weighted to make throwing and catching easier, again they can be plain or multi coloured.
